If you don’t know Frito Pie, you’re probably not from San Antonio, and that’s OK! Here’s a start to the ingredients you need to enjoy one of San Antonio’s gifts to food: Frito pie. This includes a classic blend of seasoning from Bolner’s Fiesta Chili Mix – a family owned and operated company with headquarters in San Antonio since the early 1900’s. All you’ll need to add is meat and shredded cheese to complete your concoction. And, onions and jalapenos at your option, of course .

Would you like that dressed?? Yes please! This is our favorite salt option to use on your beer of choice.

Whether you’re enjoying a frito pie, putting down some BBQ, exploring a bowl of menudo, or enjoying a barbacoa taco in the morning – no better friend to have alongside than a Big Red. Truth be told… it was originally created in Waco, BUT has long been a favorite adopted drink for San Antonians.

This is a passion project by Brian and Joan Mikiten that brings fair trade farmed beans from all over the world and processes them in small batches. They hand make these fine flavored chocolates unlike anything found in the market. Their focus is on high quality organic and locally sourced ingredients and hand wrapping each bar before delivery to each customer. The deep rich chocolates have notes of dark fruits, florals, and caramels much like you’d fine in a quality wine. And, all done here in SA!

Jan’s was started in San Antonio and has been in business since 1997 making pralines, brittle, peanut patties and flavored pecans. You may have picked up some of Jan’s products in one of your favorite places including Rudy’s Bar-B-Que, Mamacita’s Mexican Restaurant, or one of the many meat markets or grocery stores that carry this fantastic pecan and peanut goodies.

Straight outta… Trinity University! We love this story. Quick Sip Coffee was founded by Jacob Hurrell-Zitelman and what began as a humble entrepreneurship project for school, quickly evolved into a passion and business. After buttoning-down the secret formula, what would become Quick Sip Coffee was tried and tested on campus. With amazing feedback, and with help from family, friends, and professors, Quick Sip Coffee was launched into the wild.
