When 31 Days Feel Like 100 (and We Love Every Minute)
If you know, you know—“Maycember” is real. The calendars are packed, the days are full, and somehow we still show up, celebrate big, and make it all work. That’s the magic of San Antonio.
This week alone we’re juggling Teacher Appreciation Week (a sweet note goes a long way), Mother’s Day on Sunday the 10th (yay!), and Nurses Week right after. It’s a lot—but it’s all worth celebrating.
And hey—it’s never too late to send something thoughtful. We always find a way to ship, deliver, or make it happen for you.
Yesterday was our son’s birthday, and we had so much fun celebrating him with friends and family. May the Fourth forever be with you, buddy! Moments like that are everything.
And today? Cinco de Mayo falling on Taco Tuesday… which in San Antonio is basically a holiday of its own. Let’s be honest—the diet can pause for a day!
We’re also really excited to share that we’re launching a farmers market downtown. If you or someone you know is interested, please reach out to us at info@sanantonioinabox.com.
We were so sad to hear about Painted Tree closing—our hearts go out to everyone impacted. But we also want to be part of the solution. Our mission at San Antonio in a Box has always been to create space for local makers and small businesses to shine, and we believe we can build something really special downtown. We’re excited about the opportunity to get creative and collaborate with our amazing local community.
Our new downtown location is at 110 Broadway, Suite 170—right next to Divide & Conquer Denim & Leather and Canela Vintage (the best neighbors!). We also still have our 5600 Broadway location in the King Realty building for easy local pickups.
Whether it’s one box or one hundred—for teachers, moms, nurses, or corporate gifting—we’re here to help you celebrate every moment, big or small.
Because in a month like May… every thoughtful gesture counts.
